The cost of good purchased from the private sector has also increased along with the cost of fuel and transportation, books, continuing education for teachers who are now paying for most out of their own pockets, & contracts with private corporations who win bids but come back to the state after being awarded a contract and ask for more funding ( & have received it over the past 12 years) etc....etc. If public sector employees were allowed to turn a profit, they would out perform any private sec
