Lon Morris is a microcosm of the goings-ons in Cherokee County. Re the “fallout,” they are gearing up to play the sympathy card as diversion. It is easier to bury their heads in the sand than it is to simply clean house. They are more worried about the temporary local economic impact than the enrolled students losing their college credits. LMC's and our county’s “financial problems” won’t stop until the community puts more of an emphasis on competence instead of a "working for favors" mentality.
