It is not a question wether 16 is too young to drive. It is a question of wether parents are willing to have their children killed or maimed by this foolish indulgence.
Howard - take your head out of the clouds; young folks will text and e-mail on their phones while they are driving and believe they are immune. Just as you and I did when we were teens.
In fact, I think that allowing your child to drive at 16 is a case of child endangerment. A CRIME.
