No, easing the dress code will not cut down on distractions in the high schools. What would is requiring the male students to wear their pants covering their rear ends. There's no excuse for allowing them to walk the halls with their pants falling off or being held up by one hand while they juggle their books with the other. It's a fad that never went away and someone needs to put a stop to it, at least in the high school setting. Outside the school, it's up to them and their parents.
