Those teachers who are demanding a 30% raise should be dismissed and replaced with teachers who can do the job, "TEACH". It is so common nowadays for schools not to be teaching through "DIRECT INSTRUCTION", it is little wonder that our schools are failing.The average salary for teachers in Illinois is, $58,685.00, 3 months off a year.
