Respectfully, the REST of the story:
- Karen Malone DID have all of her "important papers" in another location.
- James broke into the home where the papers were & stole them.
- Karen called the Sheriffs Dept & REQUESTED POLICE ACCOMPANIMENT to retrieve the papers, stating fear for her life if he showed up. She was told to "just call them if she encountered a problem".
- Karen's sister called the Dept, begging them to go to the house, saying "he's going to kill her!", they stalled & did nothing!
