Patterson needs to recheck his Texas history. This was a Spanish territory, not Mexican, when Anglos first migrated here. Second, they were invited in, not illegal, to settle the area. What was illegel was their slave ownership, but Spain, then later Mexico was somewhat tolerant of it. What the TEA party needs to do is demonstrate how the Dem party hates the family values of Hispanics and blacks and the opportunities we offer and how little the Dems think of them.
