This is ridiculous! The last assult weapons ban was from 1994 - 2004. It didn't stop the Columbine shooting from taking place in 1999. I know these legislators think all they have to do is pass a law and everything will get better, but try to look at all the facts before unarming law-abiding citizens. This shooter already broke several laws by stealing the guns and bringing them into a "Gun-Free Zone", why would you think one more piece of legislation is going to stop him?
