In U.K. they have laws saying you can't wear hats at certain places so their CCTV can see your face. Yes U.K. is spy happy but then they are 'subjects' with no Bill of Rights nor any weapons to take back their government if it becomes a 'kingdom' again (and that's WHY we have the 2nd Amendment.)
So by increatmentalism they slowly allow more spying on the population. New York and Chicago want their own CCTV like in U.K. Plus gunshot acoustic recorders, stop-and-frisk, gun bans, etc...
