The problem with liberals trying to ban this or that (remember Dollar Bill Clinton and Janet 'baby killer' Reno and the first 'assault weapons ban'?) are the cause of the shortages. We had the same problem then.
Our supply system is of the 'on demand' type and thus if the demand is great for any one thing there will be shortages!!!
Not only ammo, but food, medicine, cloths, heat, etc.... And we are quite venerable to huge shortages.

Keep a modist stock of things you really need!
