The oath of office states that our leaders take states that they will defend and protect the Constitution. The 2nd Amendment to the Constitution is not being protected by the legislation being proposed. Consequently, anyone supporting the legislation is committing treason. There is not any statute of limitations for committing treason. Our leaders should seriously think before they act on any legislation that does not support the Constitution.
