The reason for his arrest seems to be it was over an argument and while a stun gun was displayed the other guy went to his car and got a gun. The 'Stand-Your-Ground' law says you must not have provoked the incident (i.e. argument) and when he went to his car he could have just drove off and called the cops.
And that sounds about right for the charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Hope he as a good lawyer.
