One person injuried in Saturday house fire

Update: Lindale Police Chief Clay Williamson tells KETK one person was taken to the hospital with injuries. The extent of their injuries are unknown at this time.

He says the fire started in the garage, and because of the high winds, spread quickly throughout the house.

Six people were inside the house, but all of them made it out.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, however the owner of the home tells us they believe the fire was started by a blown generator.

 

Update: No major injuries have been reported.

Fire crews are still working on putting the fire out.

Orginal- Multiple crews are currently on scene of a house fire in northern Tyler.

The fire is reportedly in the 5300 block of County Road 314.

Details are limited at this time.
