East Texas — As the 100-degree days continue, so do the reports of heat exhaustion.
Today is the fifteenth day this summer with temperatures in the triple digits.
To put that in perspective, all of last summer we had just six days at or above 100 degrees.
Health officials say more people are coming to the hospital for heat-related illnesses than in years past.
Officials say if you must be outside try to stay in the shade and drink plenty of fluids.
