Time for "Your Turn." It's a story that's tough to watch, and even more difficult to understand.
We took you to County Road 2187 Monday.
Dogs, cats, and pigs, were apparently left to fend for themselves there.
They're starving, sickly, and in need of help.
Help could be on the way. Tuesday a relative of one of the owners picked up 18 of the 20 animals. The SPCA is investigating.
This from a person, calling themselves a "Concerned Neighbor" :
"This has been going on for several years and our whole neighborhood has been trying to get something done about it all of this time. At times there has been no septic system in place. I hope this attention will get something done."
"You have to have no heart, no soul, no feelings what so ever to do this to an animal," Meryl adds. "My dog is my family."
One of the two animals left behind was a pit-bull, in very bad shape.
PW says: "Please quit showing the picture of the pit bull, that I'm sure is dead by now. It is absolutely killing me. How pitiful. Why did "no one" feed him. They took all the others and left him, without food, chained up."
Understand, the views expressed on "Your Turn" aren't always those of the KETK newsroom or management.
