Tyler, TX (KETK) — Two businesses were impacted by a fire at a Tyler gas station late Tuesday night.
Tyler fire officials tell KETK, the fire broke out just before 11:00 pm. at the Exxon station near the intersection of West Front St. and South Palance Ave.
Five engines and one Ladder Company, along with a district chief and an investigator, responded to the scene.
The fire was in a 10x12 storage building outside the station.
The storage building was destroyed, amounting to at least $400 in damage.
The residual heat from the fire also damaged another nearby business, Robertson Automotive.
There were no injuries involved, and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
A store employee reported seeing someone around the structure minutes before the fire. Fire Investigators are interviewing witnesses and will continue to review area surveillance videos to help determine the cause of the blaze.
