Tyler, TX — For more than 20 years The 'Aryan Brotherhood of Texas' has been blamed for a lot of murders.
They are known to be the most infamous prison gangs in Texas.
Reports say this gang could possibly be linked to the Kaufman murders, but whether this gang is linked to the murders we are told this is one of the most violent gangs in the United States.
Ketk tried to contact Texas Agencies, the Board of Criminal Justice, Attorney General's Office, Sheriff's Department and the FBI and no one was available to comment on this particular gang.
It's reported there are more than 20 gangs in Texas, but the ABT the white supremacist gang with distintive tattoos is growing and out of control.
KETK spoke with the Southern Poverty Law Center, Mark Potok, lcoated in AL., he says they are one of most dangerous gangs operating in the United States.
"Its members are known to have committed more than 100 murders than and at least 10 kidnappings since the gang had begun in the early 1980s," says Mark Potok.
The ABT was linked tot he double-homiceide in Lufkin in 2007.
Reports say, law enforcement is investigating this gang for the killiings in Kaufman County.
They are known for starting war in Califiornia, Texas, New York, Indiana, Ohio and Arizona.
"They have been involved in torture murders, in a number of cases they have dismembered the bodies of their victims to prevent identification and there also has been a couple of cases of burning black churches," says Mark Potok.
The Department of Public Safety of Texas released a 'Texas Gang Threat Assessment' with several agencies contributing to this assessment.
Data shows, this is one of the largest gang's currently operating in all six regions in Texas.
