Arlington, TX (KETK) — After going 0-for-4 with two strikeouts in his return to the Ballpark, Josh Hamilton was asking to get booed.
After signing with the Los Angeles Angels, he called Texas Rangers fans spoiled and called Arlington "a football town."
Hamilton said, "I will never take back what I said until they show up for 30 years. But I'm glad I can help create spirit and fire in this town. Honestly, that was louder than any playoff game I've ever been to."
KETK Sports Director Danny Elzner says those spoiled fans gave Hamilton generational wealth.
And, if Arlington is a football town, how is it 50,000 fans showed up today at a stadium that doesn't have goal posts?
