East Texas — A strong cold front capable of spawning tornadoes is expected to move through East Texas before dawn Wednesday, leaving behind a chance for frost by early Friday.
“These are really strong storms. At this point, I cannot rule out tornadoes,” said KETK meteorologist Katie Vossler — a possibility she said should be taken seriously.
The storms were expected to dump heavy rain across the region as well as bring high winds and hail, she said.
