Nacogdoches County, TX (KETK) — Three people are in custody after going on a crime spree in Nacogdoches County Sunday evening.
Sheriff Jason Bridges stated that Deputies received a call of a burglary on Farm to Market Road 225.
Before Deputies arrived on the scene the suspects had left in an unknown direction in a black car. While Deputies were investigating the burglary on FM 225, authorities received another call a few minutes later of another burglary that was in progress on County Road 717.
While responding to that call, Deputies were advised that the suspects were heading towards Nacogdoches.
An attempt to locate the vehicle was sent out to local law enforcement.
The vehicle was later seen parked at an apartment complex inside the city limits in Nacogdoches.
Sheriff investigators with the office were able to identify the suspects in the case and recovered stolen property from the two residences on both FM 225 and CR 717.
Investigators also recovered stolen property from another home inside Nacogdoches. That investigation has been turned over to the Nacogdoches Police Department.
Bridges stated that the suspects also used a weapon during the burglary on CR 717. The home owner returned to his home as the suspects were seen leaving. The weapon was used by the suspects to shoot into the ground and then was pointed at the home owner while the suspects were leaving.
The weapon has been recovered and found on the suspects during the arrest.
Deputies arrested Jarrod Henson, 17, Roderick Pollock, 18, and Loretha Thompson, 20, each were arrested for two counts of burglary of a habitation and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Henson was also charged with hindering proceedings by disorderly conduct after disrupting court proceedings for his arrest.
Bridges said that the Sheriff Office is at this time investigating two more burglaries that occurred Sunday evening in the county that they believe are related to the suspects in the case. More charges may be filed after the investigation is completed.
