Nacogdoches County, TX (KETK) — An ongoing burglary investigation by Nacogdoches County Sheriff's Office has resulted in two more arrests.
Sheriff Bridges says that a burglary that occurred on County Road 806 around the first of the month has been solved and all property has been recovered.
On April 2, 2013 Deputies were called to a burglary call on County Road 806. Witnesses at the scene were able to give authorities a vehicle description of the possible suspects in the case. Sheriff Investigators were able to identify the possible suspects in the case due to the information that was obtained in other investigations.
Investigators were able to find the stolen property from the residence that was sold to a local store. After getting video footage from the store, investigators were able to link the two suspects to the burglary.
Mickey Johnson, 19, and Mauricio Sanchez, 17, have been arrested for burglary of a habitation which is a 2nd degree felony. Both men have been booked into Nacogdoches County Jail.
Sheriff Bridges states that since April 1, 2013 the Sheriff's Office has made 15 felony arrests for burglary.
This has led to the clearing of 13 burglary investigations in Nacogdoches County.
