Tyler, Tx — Friday at Villa De Felicita in Tyler, the Trinity Mother Frances Foundation's Women's Board was busy getting ready for this year's 8th annual Pearls and Promises fundraising gala.
Trinity Mother Frances Foundation President Mary Elizabeth Jackson tells KETK, "This event was established so that the community could come help and support a unique program that nobody else offers."
Last year the women's board started a capital campaign to raise money for a new women's health center. The health center was officially named the "Pay Herd Women's Center" at the gala.
According to Trinity Mother Francis board member, Mary Lauren Faulkner, this new addition to Trinity Mother Frances will, "Target women's services for all women, regardless of their ability to pay so much of the money that we raise today will be used to under ride the services for those who are less fortunate and cannot pay for their services."
