Longview, TX (Longview News-Journal) — During a morning hearing in the 124th District Court, all parties agreed to conditions on bond for murder suspect Cedric Carldwell, who was released from jail April 16.
As condition of his release on bond, Carldwell, 42, must be inside his home from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., must submit to electronic monitoring and must not have any form of contact with witnesses in the case. Carldwell also cannot re-enter the area where the shooting happened.
Carldwell was arrested on charges stemming from the April 14 fatal shooting of Huey “Bull” Gray.
Carldwell’s background includes a 15-year prison sentence for a 1992 attempted murder conviction and a two-year state jail sentence for attempted kidnapping conviction in 2007.
