(KETK) Bullard Tx — For years, the Texas Confederation of Clubs and Independents have made their way to city halls across the state, asking mayors to sign a proclamation, urging residents to more aware of motorcyclists on the road.
Motorcyclists are often difficult to see, and have less protection than cars.
On April 24th, safety coordinator Brenda Daniels met with Mayor Pam Frederick in Bullard, where she joined three other East Texas mayors (along with Rusk and Whitehouse) who have signed the proclamation.
Daniels plans on visiting six other area communities, Jacksonville, Troup, Recklaw, Frankston, Cuney, and Tyler.
