Researchers say: positive identification has yet to be made
Houston — The Houston Chronicle is reporting; word the giant African snail - a voracious mollusk that poses a potential health threat to humans - had come to Houston surfaced this week.
But positive identification has yet to be made, said Autumn Smith-Herron, director of the Institute for the Study of Invasive Species at Sam Houston State University.
