Storms have already developed west of Waco and are moving northeast. If these storms hold together as they move toward East Texas, they will encounter very warm, moist air, which could strengthen some storms.
The Storm Prediction Center has issued a Slight Risk for severe thunderstorms for all of East Texas. Strong storms could contain high winds, frequent lightning, heavy rainfall and hail.
Another slight risk for severe thunderstorms has been issued by the SPC for tomorrow as well.
