Texas (KETK) — A little after 9:00 a.m. on Friday, Southern Methodist University tweeted an alert to students notifying them of an "active shooter" on the main campus.
The school went into lockdown at that time.
Shortly afterward, the school tweeted that the shooter was last seen on Airline and Dyer.
Now, according to the SMU website , the suspected shooter has been detained and the lockdown is over.
There were no injuries reported.
Details about the incident are extremely limited.
