KETK — T-storms will be on the increase in East Texas by the mid-afternoon and evening hours. Some of these storms could be strong to severe with damaging winds and large hail the main threats. The tornado threat is low, but not zero.
Storms will likely last into the overnight hours particularly along and south of I-20. This means that localized flooding is possible under heavier t-storms.
Rain comes to ending by tomorrow morning with the best chance of seeing lingering shower or storms in Deep East Texas. Drier and slightly cooler weather will last through the end of the weekend and the beginning of next week.
