Tyler, TX (KETK) —
Two arrests have been made in connection with lawn equipment being stolen from Breckenridge Village in Tyler last week.
Jon Kincheloe, 25, and his wife, Jacqueline, 27, both of Tyler, were arrested Tuesday, around 6:00 p.m., for stealing around $36,000 worth of various lawn equipment on Thursday, May 30. They both were charged with theft of property.
Authorities arrested the suspects in the parking lot of a sporting goods store on Highway 155 in Dogwood City.
Jon Kincheloe was identified by a Smith County Patrol Deputy from security photos taken from a still camera at Breckenridge Village.
Sergeant Jeremy Black then followed the couple on Highway 155 and he and other officers from the Smith County Sheriff's Office, DPS and Texas Parks and Wildlife, took them into custody after a stop at the sporting goods store. Black and others found a number of items in their vehicle that are believed to be stolen.
The Kincheloes are suspected in a number of other burglaries and thefts that have happened this year in Smith County.
Evidence shows that the items were being sold on eBay, Craigslist and other online sites.
Officials tell KETK they are in the process of adding addtional charges to the case.
Jon made his $15,000 bond on Tuesday night around 7:30 p.m., and Jacqueline remains in the Smith County Jail on a $20,000 bond.
