Longview, TX (Longview News-Journal) — A Wednesday morning fire was déja vu for one Longview family.
The family of six, including three children, lost most of their belongings in the fire — belongings which had been donated to them after a November 2011 fire destroyed a house the family shared on Marion Drive.
Wednesday’s blaze began in a back bedroom, Zackary said.
Firefighters were dispatched at 9:48 a.m. to the wood-frame house in the 600 block of Timberline Drive where a back bedroom was engulfed in flames, he said.
Firefighters contained the fire to the bedroom but the rest of the house sustained heavy smoke damage.
Irissa Coleman, who shares the home with her mother, brother and three children ages three, five and seven, couldn’t believe her family was losing everything to fire again.
