Nacogdoches County, Tx (KETK) — A Texarkana man is in jail after holding his girlfriend against her will for several hours on Tuesday morning.
It happened on County Road 713. Nacogdoches County dispatch received a call saying that a female was being held against her will at a residence in Nacogdoches County.
The victim was only able to communicate through text messages at the time and notified a friend to call for help. Deputies were able to locate a possible residence where the victim was at and verified the location through tracking her phone through the phone company.
Deputies surrounded the residence, and were able to make contact with the victim. During this time, the suspect then fled on foot into a wooded area behind the residence.
Nacogdoches County Sheriff Office obtained a warrant for the suspect and he was later found and returned to the residence at 8:00 a.m. this morning.
Nacogdoches County Sheriff's Deputies arrested Jack Miller, 33, for unlawful restraint and assault family violence. He was booked into Nacogdoches County Jail.
