Longview, TX (Longview News-Journal) —
A Longview man who is scheduled to be tried on a murder charge later this year has been sentenced to 22 months in state jail for violating the conditions of probation on a 2011 conviction for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
According to documents filed in the Gregg County District Clerk’s office, Troy Carnell Sadler, 19, was sentenced to four years probation after he pleaded guilty in June 2011 to the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle charge.
Three months later, he was arrested and charged in the death of 31-year-old Orion Peoples, who was found dead of gunshot wounds inside a home in the 100 block of Hutchings Boulevard.
