New proposal transforms dome to 350,000-square-foot convention and exhibit space
Houston — The Houston Chronicle is reporting; Harris County Commissioners voted unanimously to send a $194 million proposal to redevelop the Astrodome to the county budget office, county attorney and infrastructure department for further review.
The proposal to turn the historic stadium into a massive, 350,000-square-foot convention and exhibit space is from the Harris County Sports and Convention Corp.
