CNN — What do you expect to be doing when you're nearing 100?
Living a quiet life? A slower life?
Those lives are far from the case for one Connecticut woman who still works full-time slinger drinks at a bar.
Like a great bottle of scotch, Angie Maclean has been aged to perfection.
She is 98 years old and still going strong as she pours drinks at Panama Joe's Cafe in Bridgeport, CT.
"If you get somebody who asks for a certain drink, I'll ask them, I'll say, what goes in it? That's all you have to know. You know what goes in it. You make it," said Maclean.
Maclean says that she started bartending when she was 17 years old to supplement her income working at general electric. She also celebrates every holiday by dressing up and never grows tired of the job she loves. She plans to keep working as long as she lives because to Maclean, age is nothing but a number.
And whether she is shooting pool or serving up drinks. She is a walking billboard for the saying "Life is mean to be lived."
Maclean works six days a week, eight hours a day, and takes full ownership of the bar. And if things ever get out of hand, she can more than handle herself.
And for someone who has spent a lot of time asking customers for their I.D.'s, Maclean is always at the ready when there are people that can't believe she was born in 1915 and want proof of her age.
