Tyler, Texas (KETK) — A Tyler man has been arrested in the June death of his girlfriend.
Ricky Cox was has been arrested and charged with manslaughter in the death of Michelle Ingram.
On Wednesday, June 19, 2013 around 5:35 p.m., EMS responded to the area of the railroad tracks on North Bois D. Arc near the Bus Station on a report of a woman, identified as Ingram, of Tyler, who struck her head on the railroad tracks as she and her boyfriend, identified as Cox, were walking down the tracks.
On June 21, 2013 at 3:55 p.m., Judge Quincy Beavers pronounced Ingram dead at East Texas Medical Center and ordered an autopsy to be conducted at Southwest Institute of Forensic Science of Dallas.
On July 4, 2013 Tyler Police Investigators charged Cox with Manslaughter, a 2nd degree felony, for the death of his girlfriend Ingram due to injuries she sustained on June 19, 2013.
