Jack Stallard told KETK Sports Director Danny Elzner that Tuesday night's Texas Collegiate League All-Star Game was great.
Stallard said, "This was a great night for the Pump Jacks, historic Driller Park and East Texas baseball fans. It was a spectacular event. A great game that ended up 11-8, the East beat the West. Great crowd, over a thousand fans. Twelve scouts were there from major league baseball teams. This is a serious league. Good baseball, good atmosphere, great performances. The game's MVP, Ty Marlow of the Pump Jacks and the University of Texas, went 3-for-5 and pitched an inning. He topped out at 95 on the radar gun. Keep an eye on that kid. The home town kid, Kilgore's Matthew Dickey, had a couple of hits and three RBI in front of the home fans. Just a lot of fun for the fans."
