San Marcos, TX — The Houston Chronicle is reporting; across 125 acres next to the San Marcos River, the Rogers family set out to create a uniquely Texas vacation destination with land they bought in 1926.
First came glass-bottom boats in 1945, offering a view of Spring Lake, where thousands of springs bubble up from the Edwards Aquifer.
