Longview, TX (Longview News-Journal) — A Longview man was arrested at a friend’s apartment Wednesday after police said he had committed a string of burglaries along Marshall Avenue.
Police had chased Joshua Terry Brown, 30, into the apartment complex after they said they saw him in the process of a burglary, but lost sight of him, according to the probable cause affidavit for his arrest.
After being questioned Brown admitted burglarizing Hot Dog Express in the 100 block of Marshall Avenue, Gold Exchange in the same block, and Blackaller Engineering in the 2800 block of Bill Owens Parkway, the affidavit said.
Brown was accused of four counts of burglary of a building. He was held Thursday in the Gregg County Jail on $20,000 worth of bonds.
