A&M researchers will create digital models of the Alamo
San Antonio, Texas — The Houston Chronicle is reporting; A team of professors and students from Texas universities are helping to preserve the Alamo, a piece of Texas history vulnerable to erosion and aging, through the use of high-tech models.
The team, led by Texas A&M researchers, will create digital models of the Alamo, which analyze the building’s erosion from rainwater and the effects on the structure from heat and cold.
