Oxnard, CA — KETK's Phil Kuchinsky talked with Lufkin's Dez Bryant Tuesday night at Cowboys Camp in California.
The East Texan said he's doing it all for his hometown.
"This is for Lufkin," Bryant said. "What I do, I give it all back to my home town."
"The late Coach Outlaw, the whole coaching staff and my high school, they always believed in me," Bryant continued. "I love them and my family back home. I thank them and I want them to know that."
Bryan drew prised from Cowboys coach Jason Garrett.
"We're proud of Dez," Garrett said. "The approach he's taken and his consistency in meetings have a lot to do with the maturing he's made as a person. It reflects in his play."
