Gov. Perry says a third special session is possible
Austin — The Houston Chronicle is reporting; State lawmakers are at an impasse over how to increase Texas transportation funding, and with a session deadline looming, Gov. Rick Perry has signaled he'll keep them longer if they don't finish the job.
House and Senate members, scheduled to return to the Capitol on Thursday, have spent most of the last two weeks divided on a key part of the plan to invest about $900 million more for highways.
