Marshall — The testimony of a third alleged victim was at the heart of an early recess Wednesday afternoon in the trial of a former sheriff’s deputy.
Vernard Solomon, attorney for Eddie Nichols, objected to the prosecution’s request to hear testimony from the woman and requested more time from Judge David Brabham to support his objection.
Nichols is on trial for two counts of indecency with a child by contact. Authorities say the victims are his two stepdaughters.
