Tyler. Texas (KETK) — Total Healthcare in Tyler will no longer see patients after Friday, August 2nd.
According to a sign on the door of the facility, the clinic closed its doors for good at 4:00 p.m., on Friday.
Last year, the city suspended funding to the Total Healthcare organization after what the city called a “chronic inability to maintain leadership.”
In 2011, the Attorney General’s office filed a lawsuit against Total Healthcare alleging several violations including negligent mismanagement.
Total Care is a home medical equipment company and people may be confusing Total Care with Total Healthchare. KETK would like to clarify, Total Care is not closing.
