Dallas, Texas (KETK) — Our veterans risk their lives daily, fighting overseas, but the struggles they face when they come back home can be just as treacherous.
According to a recent study conducted by the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America, nearly one and three vets have considered taking their own life.
It's an alarming epidemic, leaving many wondering, what can be done?
That is why a hotline, along with other tools are being provided to struggling vets and their falsies.
Many soldiers have to deal with joblessness, homelessness, and reintegrating into civilian society.
If you are a vet working through these issues, or no someone who is, go to this website http://www.veteranscrisisline.net/
