SMITH COUNTY — Tuesday night's storm blew down trees over roads and in yards.
This tree came down around midnight in the Knollwood Subdivision off Old Jacksonville Highway outside of Tyler.
Power lines also came down with the tree causing the power to go out in the neighborhood.
The storm caused power outages across East Texas. According to a spokesperson for ONCOR electric, more than 13 thousand people, scattered across Smith County were without power.
Swepco reported over three thousand people in Gregg and Rusk counties without power overnight.
