CNN — A custom-made car in Texas is turning heads.
The vehicle looks like it belongs on a Hollywood set.
John Salazar calls it the Bat Car.
Salazar says it's taken a year and a half to transform a Corvette into this custom made creation.
"Blood, sweat and tears, lots of blood, sweat and tears there's actually literally my blood in this car where I've cut myself and it just dripped into the car," said Salazar.
He builds all types of cars in his spare time and says this time around, he was looking for a challenge like never before.
"To me, the top of the hill was building some type of a Bat Car," said Salazar.
His daughters have taken a special liking to this one.
Salazar says he's hoping to turn all of that attention toward a good cause.
He'll be showing off the Bat Car at a benefit for cancer research over the weekend.
And he's far from finished.
