Tyler, Texas — A father and son escaped unharmed Friday evening, after their mobile home went up in flames.
Firefighters on scene tell KETK the fire started just before 6:30 p.m. at the home on County Road 328, near Lavender Road.
According to officials, the father was mowing his lawn when he noticed smoke coming from the top of the house.
He then ran inside house, grab his young son, and made it out safely.
Fire crews were called to the scene, but the house was completely destroyed.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
