Tyler, Texas — For years sodas have been linked to obesity and diabetes in kids; with ingredients like phosphoric acid and sugar it is no wonder why.
Now a new study published in the Journal of Pediatrics shows, these popular drinks could be causing your kids to show signs of violence with other children. A team from Columbia University surveyed three thousand mothers, all with five year old children.
The research found that out of this group of kids, nearly half of them had one soft drink a day, some of them drinking up to four. The research also went on to find that the more sugary sodas they had, the more destructive and violent the kids became.
