Lindale, Texas (KETK) — The George W. Bush Institute will recognize Lindale Junior High School as one of three U.S. middle schools to receive intensive on-site support throughout the year from some of the nation's leading experts in reading, math, and writing instruction and intervention, drop out prevention, data management, and advanced reasoning through the institute's Middle School Matters program.
Dr. Gina Rodriguez will make a presentation to Lindale Junior High and Lindale ISD during the school board meeting Monday, August 26, at 6:00 p.m. at the Lindale ISD Administration Building.
The George W. Bush Institute announced Tuesday the selection of LJHS as one of the three middle schools among eight U.S. schools invited to receive extensive training in the Middle School Matters event held earlier this summer.
MSM was held at U.T. Austin and LJHS was chosen out of 44 schools nationwide to participate.
