Nacogdoches, TX (KETK) — The Nacogdoches County Sheriff Office and the Nacogdoches Police Department has seized 17 grams of crack cocaine from a residence on Arthur Weaver Road early Friday morning.
William Richard Cole III, 33, was after authorities crack and tools used for the selling of drugs in his home.
Sheriff Jason Bridges stated that both agencies conducted a search warrant of a residence around 5:00 a.m.
The Nacogdoches County Sheriff Office has been working an ongoing investigation into drug distribution in Nacogdoches County. Sheriff Deputies identified a distributor of crack cocaine that was dealing drugs from this residence. During the investigation, Sheriff Deputies obtained probable cause for a search warrant on the residence where the suspect was living.
Both agencies executed the search warrant that lead to the discovery of Crack Cocaine, digital scales, and drug paraphernalia. William Richard Cole III, 33 years of age was arrested at the scene and charged with possession of a controlled substance a 2nd degree felony. He was booked into the Nacogdoches County Jail.
The street value of the crack cocaine is worth $1,500.
